Charles SPANTON and Mary Ann Eliza MORRIS were married on 14 September 1891 at St Martin in the Fields, Westminster, Middlesex5. Charles SPANTON says his father’s name was Thomas SPANTON, a painter, but his father’s name was William Watson SPANTON who in 1881 was working as a painter and paperhanger. William Watson SPANTON died in 1886. Although the difference in name causes questions, I believe there are enough other records to believe that this was just an error.
