The couple weren’t living at 45 Church Road, Homerton, as they had been for the previous 3 censuses but the property stayed in the family as it was mentioned on Charles James GREAVES’ death certificate, and the death certificate of his son Henry GREAVES in 192413.
Charles and Jane wrote that they had 10 children during their marriage. These children were: Charles James, William C, Elizabeth Louisa, Wallace Campbell, Alfred Robert, James Clyde, Archibald Campbell, Henry, Margaret Amelia, and Donald Major GREAVES.

Death
Charles James GREAVES died on 05 July 1913 at 45 Church Road, Homerton, Middlesex at the age of 7914. Wynn WESTCOTT, the coroner, was the informant for the death – Charles had died from a fatty degeneration of the heart.

Will
This is the last will and testament of me Charles James GREAVES of No 45 Church Road Homerton in the county of Middlesex Builder and decorator I give devise and bequeath my freehold dwellinghouse and premises situate at No 45 Church Road Homerton aforesaid with the yard and garden outhouses and appurtenances thereto belonging and the goodwill and benefit of the business of Builder and Decorator which I am now carrying on there and also all my capital and property which shall be employed in the said business at my decease and all my estate and interest in the land and buildings and their appurtenances situate and being No. 43 in Church Road Homerton aforesaid and all other the property both real and personal and of what nature or kind soever which I shall at my decease be possessed of or entitled to or over which at my decease I shall have any power of disposition by will unto my dear wife Emma Jane Thrail GREAVES absolutely and I appoint my said wife sole EXECUTRIX of this my will IN WITNESS whereof I have hereunto set my hand the thirteenth day of October One thousand eight hundred and eighty.
